The Starz Performing Arts Academy is a dance studio located in East Rutherford and Fairfield, New Jersey. We offer professional dance instruction for children and adults in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop,acrobatics,cheer Dance and modern dance. All of our teachers have dance degrees, and teach the most up-to-date choreography. Our two facilities offer over 4600 sq. ft.(East Rutherford)1000Sq.FT(Fairfield) for classes, giving students and teachers plenty of room for instruction. Classes run from September to June, and we also offer summer sessions and summer camps. It's not too late to join up, so call us or stop by today! STARLIGHT dance center is where you and your family can learn to dance, meet new friends and have a lot of fun in a warm, clean and friendly environment. Founded by Katharina Marks in January, 2003, STARLIGHT is known for excellent instruction in every style of dance, a friendly staff, warm atmosphere and the most beautiful ballroom in the New Jersey/New York City area.
STARLIGHT’s 10,000 square foot facility attracts adults, children, amateur dancers, and professional dancers - including world champions - to our grand 4,000 square foot performance floor. We also have 3 ballrooms with wide open space, large windows and high ceilings, plus a solid mirror wall that spans 85 feet. Our European style ballroom is a real reflection of the style, professionalism and class of the instructors working here.
Hip Hop, Tap, Ballet and More: Kids Dance Classes
STARLIGHT’s Performing Arts Program is designed to teach your child the art of dance and movement in a fun and disciplined environment. Our trained and experienced faculty teaches children ages 3-17 in tap, hip hop, jazz, ballet, Latin dance and ballroom dancing, while building self confidence, meeting other children and having a lot of fun. Twice a year your child will have the opportunity to perform on stage at our grand recitals for family and friends.
